What was that? I hold my breath, listening for a repeat of the strange sound; some kind of quiet, little clatter. My pet girl mumbles something through her nose, so I pull her head back against my shoulder with my hand over her mouth and up against her nostrils, blocking them, and I whisper in her ear, "Sssshhhhhhhhh." Now, her eyes are also wide, but because I'm preventing her from breathing.

Having created as much quiet as I can, I listen intently for another similar sound as I thought I heard before. Nothing. I try to figure where I might have heard that sound come from, and I look to the window.

Yes, there, a face is in my window, peering in at me, and my helpless pet who is continually squirming in my arms. I smile at the face, and then whisper again into my pet's ear, "It looks like we've got a watcher. Shall we put on a show?"

I continue to hold her as I have been, preventing her from pulling in a breath. From the moment I grabbed her mouth and pulled her against me, a part of my mind has been counting down. I don't know if she's been counting, but I'm sure her lungs are beginning to burn with need of fresh oxygen. She squirms against my grip, a sense of grave need growing within her and becoming more insistent with each passing moment. Still smiling at the face in my window, I finally release my hand.

She pants like her life depends upon it, air practically whistling through her nostrils. But not through her mouth, as it is covered with several layers of duct tape preventing her from spitting out the gym sock that fills her oral cavity. She continues to squirm helplessly in my arms, but now it's for another need, as indicated by the sensual churning of her hips.

Still smiling, I point to the face and announce, "This was for you, to thank you for watching. And to thank you for adding to your favorites a couple of my attempts at self-portraiture. Keep your eye on me, if you want to see more."
